Navarre were awarded this substantial demolition project via direct negotiation. The works involved (but were not limited to) the identification of existing, embedded services, the identification of existing structural walls / floors and casings, the removal of existing furniture throughout, the removal of all floor finishes, the rerouting of existing infrastructure passing through the space to roof level and serving the buildings BMS / LTHW & CHW services, a substantial asbestos removal package, the removal of all existing suspended ceilings, the removal of all existing joinery, the removal of all existing plasterboard partitions, the removal of all solid construction (cast concrete) walls / ceilings and services ducts, installation of a temporary wireless fire alarm system, the demolition of all existing WC facilities, creation of temporary fire lobbies, repairs to the existing structural steel roof and ongoing waterproofing repairs.
